CAYS Rec Soccer
Rec soccer is designed to introduce beginner players to the game of soccer and teach the basics and fundamental skills of the game. Players receive equal playing time during games. Coaches and parents are encouraged to focus on player development and improvement throughout the season. Practices will be held one night per week and games will be held mostly on Saturdays.
Participating in the fundraiser is OPTIONAL for all participants. We encourage families to participate as those extra funds are used for facility and equipment upgrades. We also offer incentives to top sellers.
SPRING 2026 AGE GROUPS
- U5 – born in 2021 & 2022; this division is co-ed
- U7 – born in 2019 & 2020
- U10 – born in 2016, 2017 & 2018
- U13 – born in 2013, 2014 & 2015
EVALUATIONS
Evaluations are scheduled for the week of February 23. The evaluations are only for the U10 and U13 age groups. The evaluations are not tryouts. Their purpose is for us to access the players’ skill levels so we can do our best to create evenly skilled teams teams. The schedule will be announced later this summer. All evaluations are held at the George B. Stuart Athletic Fields (1213 Rockledge Drive, Carlisle). Please bring a soccer ball with you.

Please note that evaluations are not held for U5 and U7.
Practices begin the week of March 16. Rosters will be announced via TeamSnap the week before practices begin. We will share additional information about the TeamSnap App after the evaluations. Games start Saturday, March 28.
