CAYS Rec Soccer

Rec soccer is designed to introduce beginner players to the game of soccer and teach the basics and fundamental skills of the game. Players receive equal playing time during games. Coaches and parents are encouraged to focus on player development and improvement throughout the season. Practices will be held one night per week and games will be held mostly on Saturdays.

Participating in the fundraiser is OPTIONAL for all participants. We encourage families to participate as those extra funds are used for facility and equipment upgrades. We also offer incentives to top sellers.

FALL 2024 AGE GROUPS

• U5 – born in 2020 & 2021; this division is co-ed
• U7 – born in 2018 & 2019
• U10 – born in 2015, 2016 & 2017
• U13 – born in 2012, 2013 & 2014

EVALUATIONS

Evaluations are scheduled for the week of July 22. The evaluations are only for the U10 and U13 age groups and they will run from 5:15-6:30pm at the George B. Stuart complex at 1213 Rockledge Drive. The evaluations are not tryouts. Their purpose is for us to access the players’ skill levels so we can do our best to create evenly skilled teams teams. The schedule is listed below:

• Monday, July 22 – U13 Girls
• Tuesday, July 23 – U13 Boys
• Wednesday, July 24 – U10 Girls
• Thursday, July 25 – U10 Boys

Please note that evaluations are not held for U5 and U7.
