VOICES FROM THE PAST: A Journey of Hope
presented by Authors & Y Members Herta Crull & Margaret Pasztor

Voices from the Past is based on Carlisle Family YMCA member Herta Crull’s early childhood memories. Some of these are her own personal memories. But most of this book is based on stories that Herta was told by a young school friend whose mother had told them to her. It was young Herta who encouraged her friend to beg her mother to tell her about these adventures.

Throughout her long life, Herta has always been fascinated by these stories and thought they ought to be written down. At last, she collaborated with her friend, Margaret Pasztor. This book is the result of their joint efforts. Margaret’s husband, Laszlo, is a retired Army officer. His military knowledge was an invaluable resource.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author, ask questions and purchase the book that day. The cost is $20 for soft cover and $25 for hardcover. Payment is by cash or check only.
